Bio
Fakhrul Patwary is a second-year doctoral student. His research lies at the intersection of health policy, data analytics, the policy process, and evaluation, with a strong focus on evidence-informed decision-making.
Fakhrul holds a Master of Public Policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea, where he concentrated data science. His prior academic training includes a BSS and MSS in Political Science from the University of Dhaka. His research draws on econometrics, machine learning, and impact evaluation techniques to investigate public health interventions and governance challenges in both developed and developing contexts.
He has presented his research at international conferences, including the World Bank Development Impact Evaluation Conference and academic forums in South Korea, Sri Lanka, and China. Fakhrul’s work is informed by a commitment to equity, accountability, and the advancement of data-driven public policy. Fakhrul enjoys playing badminton.
