Daniel Hayes is a doctoral candidate in Public Administration specializing in sustainability governance and institutional analysis. His current research is a examines how the institutional arrangements of public power utilities affect the implementation of renewable energy initiatives. The research analyzes the unique, path-dependent context of Nebraska as the only all-public-power state in the U.S.. His broader research interests include polycentric governance and technology ethics. He has also taught undergraduate courses in public budgeting and nonprofit finance.Education
