The Bruce Tuttle Memorial Scholarship serves to commemorate the life of Bruce Tuttle, a staple in Jet Linx Aviation.
About Bruce Tuttle
Bruce Tuttle had a major role with Jet Linx Aviation as a consultant back in 1999. From there, he became the Director of Safety in 2005 where he was instrumental in creating their Safety Management Program. Bruce then went on to become their Director of Compliance. He retired from Jet Linx Aviation in 2017. He passed away in July of 2018. This scholarship was created with funds from the Jet Linx Aviation Institute Golf Classic to honor Bruce Tuttle’s love & passion for aviation.
Students meeting the following criteria shall be eligible for this scholarship:
- Candidates shall be an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Aviation at the Aviation Institute, College of Public Affairs & Community Service, University of Nebraska at Omaha
- Cumulative 2.5 or higher GPA
- Candidates must be enrolled in the current semester at UNO, AND the Summer or Fall semesters
