What Is the Aviation Living Community?

The UNO Aviation Living Community provides Aviation Institute students with the opportunity to live alongside classmates who share their academic interests and passion for aviation. By bringing aviation students together in one residential community, the program encourages stronger connections, collaborative learning, and a greater sense of belonging both inside and outside the classroom.

Launched during the 2026–2027 academic year, the community is UNO’s first college-specific housing community. Its inaugural group includes 48 aviation students living across 12 dorm rooms.

How to Apply

Students interested in joining the Aviation Living Community should complete UNO’s online housing application through the Housing Portal. Students must first be admitted to UNO before they can apply for university housing. During the application process, students can select the Aviation Living Community as their preferred housing option.

Students are encouraged to apply early, as space within the community is limited. Completing an application does not necessarily guarantee placement.

Application Dates

• New Students: The housing application opens November 1.
• Returning Students: The housing application opens in mid-November.

Applications will remain open while space is available, but students interested in the Aviation Living Community are encouraged to apply as soon as their application becomes available.
