Special Education Supervisor Endorsement

Are you interested in a special education leadership position? If so, consider working towards a Special Education Supervisor endorsement at UNO. This endorsement prepares you to serve in special education administrative and supervisory roles in Nebraska schools providing services for students with disabilities, birth through age 21.

Endorsement offered in partnership with the UNO Department of Educational Leadership.

Program Scope:

Endorsement Requirements

  • 36 graduate semester hours
  • 21 hours in Educational Leadership
  • 12 hours in Special Education
  • 3 hours- Elective

Master’s Degree

  • 9 graduate semester hours
  • 21 hours in Educational Leadership
  • 12 hours in Special Education
  • 6 hours- Electives

Prerequisites:

Must hold a special education, speech-language pathology, or school psychology endorsement and have 2 years of teaching experience.
