Biography
Kara Schneider, PhD, LIMHP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a licensed independent mental health practitioner whose clinical and scholarly work centers on integrating evidence-based counseling practices with holistic, interdisciplinary care. Her professional background includes a strong focus on trauma-informed and wellness-based approaches, particularly at the intersection of chronic pain, trauma, and mind-body integration. Kara is passionate about bridging research and practice to support client outcomes and advance the counseling profession.
