Additional Information

JM Christiansen is a director, playwright, and acting teacher. He is also a theatre scholar with a specialty in contemporary American Drama. He received his MFA in Theatre Directing from the University of Montana, where is currently a PhD candidate. JM is especially interested in creating theatre pieces which activate the audience's imagination as a co-collaborator, as well as building unique theatre experiences from the ground up.

He has recently directed Mary Zimmerman's iconic play Metamorphoses for the University of Montana and his own adaptation of Frankenstein for the Montana Repertory Theatre. He is a Designated Meisner Teacher with The Meisner Institute.

JM is the host of No Script: A Theatre Podcast (noscriptpodcast.podbean.com). In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and adventuring with his beloved partner Brianne, their son Arthur, and their two dogs.
