The entrance to the preserve is located on the north side of State Street about 0.48 km (0.3 mile) west of the intersection of 144^th and State Street or 1.13 km (0.7 mile) east of the intersection of 156^th and State Street. Brown and white road signs guide you to the entrance. Follow the gravel road down the hill to the headquarters parking area. T.L. Davis Preserve overlooks the Elkhorn River and the Elkhorn River Valley, and is situated in western Douglas County, Nebraska. The entrance to the preserve is located at the north end of Pine Ridge Road, generally south of Q Street and east of 245^th Street (Legal Description: Section 9, Township 14 North, Range 10 East of the 6^th P.M).
