General Information

Biography

Though born in Chicago, Matthew considers Omaha his home town. He attended UNO and the University of Kingston-upon-Hull (UK) for his undergraduate degree in English literature. He attended UNO for his MA in English with a concentration in Romantic through Modern British literature. He has been teaching at UNO since 1996.

Teaching Interests

Composition, literature, and interdisciplinary studies.

Research Interests

Outdoor writing, poetry, British literature, and theoretical quantum mechanics.
