Distinguished Scholarship

The university annually awards five Distinguished Scholarships. These scholarships have a total estimated value over a four-year period of $31,000 to $33,000. All five are awarded competitively through the University's scholarship management system. If students meet the scholarship's eligibility criteria, they will be invited to apply after completing their application to the University Honors Program.

Up to 10 additional scholarships are awarded to the top alternates; these are Honors Merit Scholarships.

Incoming first-year students must be admitted to the University and have their Honors Program and Honors scholarship application (if eligible) complete by February 1st of their senior year to be considered. UNO will accept ACT/SAT scores through the February test date of your senior year.
