welcome to CFAM.

Our programs in art history, broadcasting, creative writing, journalism, music, speech communication, studio art, and theatre offer students a wide variety of opportunities in which they may explore exciting forms of artistic expression, performance, and communication.

The college's nationally known faculty of artists, performers, and scholars care about students' progress and provide innovative instruction in small, informal classroom settings, offering one-on-one teacher/student interactions as well as close working relationships among students.

UNO’s location in this diverse metropolitan area greatly enhances the “CFAM” experience. Omaha cultural resources offer opportunities for student internships, exhibits, readings and performances with such organizations as the Omaha Theatre Company for Young People, Omaha Community Playhouse, Cox Communications, Omaha World-Herald, Heartland Philharmonic Orchestra, the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, Waitt Radio, Bemis Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Joslyn Art Museum, ConAgra, First National Bank of Omaha, the Omaha Symphony and Opera Omaha.

I invite you to take a moment to visit our site and learn about our outstanding programs and award winning facilities.
