The Women and Gender Equity Center (WGEC) advocates for gender equality and provides resources, support, and educational programming to promote an equitable environment for all students.
WGEC works with the UNO community to address issues both on campus and in the Omaha Metro Area. The WGEC offers everyone the opportunity to explore and discover resources pertaining to women's lives and gender equity.
In addition to offering resources, the WGEC also works to provide a parenting and lactation-friendly space on campus that is welcoming to parents of all gender identities and their children.
