The Student Government Association (SGA) strives for transparency. As such, various important documents are readily available to the public. Please feel free to browse the libraries below.
Governing Documents
Availability of Records
SGA is currently working to ensure that documents and records available on our website comply with current accessibility standards. As part of this process, we will need to convert a large volume of documents into accessible formats.
We will make every reasonable effort to locate and provide records that are available and appropriate for release. Some historical records may not exist in a readily accessible or electronic format, and certain records may be subject to university policies, privacy requirements, or other restrictions.
If you are looking for a particular document or record, please let us know. Specific information about what you need helps us prioritize requests and make the requested materials available in an accessible format as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to make SGA's records more accessible and ensure that our website and documents are available to all members of our community.
Requesting Additional Documents or Records
To request an SGA document or record that is not currently available online, please email sgaUNO@unomaha.edu and copy involvement@unomaha.edu. We are happy to help you locate the information you are looking for.
To help us find records as efficiently as possible, please identify the specific material or record you are requesting. Because SGA maintains a large volume of documents, broad or open-ended requests for unspecified records may require additional clarification before we can process them.
When submitting a request, please include, when applicable:
- The specific document, record, or type of material you are looking for;
- The relevant meeting;
- The approximate date or date range associated with the requested material; and
- Any additional information that may help us identify the requested record.
For example, a request for “Senate meeting minutes from September 2025” provides enough information for us to identify the requested records, while a request for “all SGA documents from last year” may require additional clarification.
