Participant Questions

As we receive questions from you in advance of your visit that other participants may be interested in, we will post them here for all to see.

Do we need to bring our laptop along with us or will a computer be provided?

A computer will be provided upon your arrival, so no need to bring a personal computer unless you prefer your own.

Do you have recommendations for what to pack for the weather in Nebraska?

Details about what to pack can be found under Campus and Omaha Life. Scroll down to Suggested Packing List.

Regarding cultural activities, will we need to perform our country's traditional culture (such as traditional dance, national costumes, etc) and/or making country representative stalls for any Global Village activities?

You will have opportunities for presentations and performances that reflect your country's traditional culture. If you would like to bring a national costume, goods, photos, etc. to use during these opportunities, you are welcome to do so. If this would be too much of a burden when packing, we can find other ways to present your countries culture using the computer and local goods.
