The Nebraska Collaborative Learning Network (NCLN) aims to meet the evolving needs of Nebraska educators and educational leaders by offering formal learning, networking, and informal learning opportunities, with the launch of its content in Fall 2025. 

Goals of the Nebraska Collaborative Learning Network (NCLN):

  1. Enhance professional skills of Nebraska educators and educational leaders. Offer competency-based, practical learning that improves teaching and leadership abilities.
  2. Facilitate collaboration, networking, and mentorship opportunities for Nebraska educators and educational leaders. Foster a network of educators and educational leaders to share insights, strategies, and best practices, creating a supportive learning community.
  3. Ensure accessibility and flexibility for all Nebraska educators and educational leaders. Offer just-in-time, flexible learning opportunities tailored to the demanding schedules of educators and educational leaders, ensuring ease of access.

2025-26 Key Areas of Focus and Deliverables for the Nebraska Collaborative Learning Network (NCLN)

  1. Competency-Based Learning Programs - Launch a suite of microcredential badges and competency-based courses tailored to the needs of Nebraska educators, offering at least 15 hours of learning per course.
  2. Facilitated Networking and Collaboration - Establish structured networking opportunities, including mentoring groups, cross-district book studies, and virtual collaboration spaces for educators and administrators.
  3. Accessible, Just-in-Time Learning Resources - Create an extensive informal learning library, providing curated resources for educators to access on-demand for immediate professional development needs.
  4. Innovative Assessment and Progress Tracking - Develop a comprehensive transcript system to track progress and learning achievements, including engagement tokens
