Why UNO

Having worked in the healthcare field for many years I began to look at where I could make a different impact on my community. I knew that getting involved in higher education was the next step in my career. The mission of UNO to transform and improve the quality of life locally, nationally, and globally fit in perfectly with what I was looking to do with my career change. Having the opportunity to help people achieve their goals and pursue better opportunities for themselves and their loved ones is incredible. As a part of the department of Innovative and Learning Centric Initiatives I have a direct role in improving access to education for all learners and promoting innovation across the University.

Vacation Spot

The most magical place on earth or somewhere with sun, sand, and good food.

Favorite Food

I love food and truly believe it brings people together. I particularly love food that has a communal component whether it’s hot pot or cooking smores over a campfire.
