Biography
Mike Zimmerman grew up in the southeast and never expected to end up in Nebraska, but he's been here since 2000 and believes Omaha is a great place! He started at UNO in 2001, managing the Blackboard system. Now he is part of the Digital Learning team managing Canvas, Zoom, VidGrid, and other academic technology systems as an administrator/integration specialist.

Why UNO and Digital Learning
I cannot imagine wanting to work anywhere but higher education. I love the culture, atmosphere and potential of a college campus, and strongly support the goals and mission of the university.
Interests and Hobbies
I'm a musician and have played bass in many local bands and ensembles.
Vacation Spot
I love traveling, but the Gulf Coast is my favorite place, especially New Orleans, Tampa, and Key West.
