Bio

Dr. Song holds the position of Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Dr. Song received his Ph.D. in Public Administration from University of Nebraska at Omaha. His dissertation research examines the significant factors that need to be considered for effectively designing, implementing, and evaluating public and nonprofit programs, focusing on public and nonprofit information technology assistance programs for micro-enterprises. His research interests include collaborative governance and citizen participation and IT policy and management in the public and non-profit sector. He has presented on various issues of IT public policy and management, including e-government, at domestic and international conferences. He has extensive experience working on local e-government policy and program management in South Korea. His teaching interests are in information management in the public sector, public policy analysis, public and non-profit program evaluation, and research methods.
