Bio
Leticia Stacey Tetteh is a doctoral candidate in the School of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), where she also serves as a Graduate Assistant. In this role, she supports the Omaha community Foundation by evaluating a capacity-building program for minority nonprofit leaders of color. Stacey has previously served on the MPA Advisory Council and Committee, where she contributed to data coordination and analysis efforts that supported faculty in the accreditation process.
Her research centers on social equity in public administration, with active projects focusing on Nonprofit Economic Equity, the Heartland Civic Mobility Project and a national “Library and Democracy” research project in collaboration with distinguished faculty across the United States.
Beyond academia, Stacey is passionate about human services and public sector engagement. She has gained practical experience through internships with the Department of Social Welfare’s Probation Unit in Ghana, the City of Chicago, and the Village of Burr Ridge. Additionally, she has worked in the private sector in customer service and marketing roles, where she developed strong interpersonal and communication skills while assisting clients and promoting products and insurance services in Ghana
