Bio
Ibrahim is a 4th-year PhD student studying public administration. He is currently a Specialist in the Thompson Learning Center, working to support the academic journey of Susan Buffet scholarship recipients.
Ibrahim has an extensive research and project management background serving as Employment Engagement Program manager for the International Council for Refugees and Immigrants, DEAI Project Manager for the American Alliance of Museums, and serving as the lead qualitative researcher for the College of Public Affairs and Community service as a graduate assistant.
Ibrahim is currently working on his dissertation, investigating the methods used by nonprofit leaders to operationalize their missions in racialized and segregated environments. Ibrahim continues to actively volunteer his time with youth serving initiatives in North Omaha and South Omaha. Outside of UNO Ibrahim has begun to engage in qualitative research and program evaluation for nonprofit programming supporting educational institutions and communities of color.
