Bio
Andrew Burk is a third-year doctoral candidate. Following obtaining an MPA degree, Andrew has worked with a nonprofit to address homelessness and housing instability in Lucas County, Ohio, before moving on with the same organization to perform data analysis for all their programs through different parts of Michigan, including 211 and 988 projects.During the height of COVID, Andrew became interested in how governments and nonprofits are relying on and using technology (machine learning, AI, and other information and communication technologies) to address the needs of their communities. His research interests currently look at platform government and AI implementation.
