Alumni Update

With two degrees in music performance, I started an MPA in nonprofit management at UNO in 2010. I was accepted into the doctoral program at ASU in 2012, and decided to start that degree while I finished the last few classes in my MPA program; I graduated with the degree in December 2013.

I am nearly finished with my doctorate in clarinet performance at ASU, graduating in May 2015, and am looking for employment in higher education. I hope to utilize both my musical training and my administrative training as a member of a university's music school or department.

Earning the MPA has been an essential part of my education. I have found that the PA classes greatly expanded my world view and my knowledge base, and I use that base every day as a teaching assistant, a student worker in admissions, and as an officer with the Graduate and Professional Student Association at ASU.
