Jamie Walker, Charles Durham Distinguished Guest 2022

Jamie Walker is the Executive Chairman of Jet Linx Aviation and one of the most influential leaders in the private aviation industry. Since joining the Omaha-based company in 2002, Walker has played a central role in transforming Jet Linx from a small, regional fractional-ownership provider into one of the nation’s largest and most respected private jet management and jet card service companies.

After stepping into leadership early in his career, Walker spearheaded Jet Linx’s transition from fractional ownership to a fully integrated model built on two core services: Jet Card Membership and comprehensive Aircraft Management. This strategic shift laid the groundwork for the company’s long-term expansion and reshaped how Jet Linx delivers private aviation solutions. In 2007, he became President & CEO, and under his direction the company grew from a four-aircraft operation to a nationwide network managing more than 100 aircraft across numerous private base locations.

Walker is known for emphasizing personalized service, operational excellence, and a deeply rooted safety culture. He introduced the industry-leading annual companywide Safety Summit—during which Jet Linx voluntarily grounds its entire fleet for a day of training and reflection—and secured the highest third-party safety accreditations, including ARGUS Platinum Elite, WYVERN Wingman PRO, and IS-BAO Stage 3 certifications. He also led the company’s partnership with Forbes Travel Guide to establish a first-of-its-kind, Five-Star-inspired service standard for private aviation.

In 2023, Walker transitioned into the role of Chairman of the Board, continuing to guide Jet Linx’s long-term strategic vision. He later returned to an active leadership position as Executive Chairman, maintaining oversight of the company’s mission, culture, and national growth initiatives.

Rooted in Omaha, Nebraska—where Jet Linx was founded by his father, Denny Walker—Jamie Walker has built his leadership philosophy on the belief that private aviation should feel personal, local, and service-driven. His two decades of vision and innovation have established Jet Linx as a premier national provider and a benchmark for excellence within the industry.
