Biography

Tyler Timm is an Instructor in the Aviation Institute. Tyler teaches classes covering topics such as: Aviation History, International Aviation, General Aviation Business, Airport Safety and Security, and Aviation Law. Tyler has been involved in aviation his entire life. Mr. Timm's grandfather was a commercial pilot and flight instructor for over 60 years. Mr. Timm's father and sister are both pilots for United Airlines, and his mother was a flight attendant for over 30 years. Mr. Timm is passionate about aviation and has been involved in a variety of sectors within the aviation industry. Mr. Timm has worked as a Certified Flight Instructor, Flight Training Administrator, Aircraft Salesman, and owns and manages a small part 135 air carrier company. Mr. Timm is passionate about teaching and hopes to instruct his students on a variety of different disciplines within aviation. 
 
Tyler Timm attended Iowa State University and graduated in 2020 with a B.S. in History. After, he attended Purdue University and graduated in 2021 with a M.S. in Aviation and Aerospace Management. Tyler currently attends Creighton University School of Law where he is expects to graduate with a J.D. in 2025. Mr. Timm is a local Nebraskan, growing up on a horse farm located 45 minutes West of Omaha. Tyler hopes to one day serve the Nebraska Aviation community, diligently representing pilots and aviation companies with all legal matters. In Tyler's free time he enjoys reading, playing with his dog, skiing, golfing and talking about airplanes with anyone who is willing to listen!
