Zaid Kakish, a UNO student, discusses how being part of a student club shaped their cybersecurity journey

This episode features Zaid Kakish, a cybersecurity graduate student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), and Martha Garcia-Murillo, Ph.D., Dean of the UNO College of Information Science & Technology (IS&T). Kakish shares their involvement on campus through Nullify, a student club that explores cybersecurity fundamentals, tools, workshops, and current industry topics—all while hosting guest speakers and organizing community events.
