IS&T Virtual Labs
Virtual machines are available for some courses.
Instructors: to request accounts for your students, send a list of their UNO email addresses, course number, section number, VM type, and VM template location to uno-ist-support@unomaha.edu.
Students: if you can't login, your instructor hasn't requested an account yet.
Connecting to Virtual Labs
* Important * prior to connecting from off-campus you'll need to enroll in Two-Factor by following the instructions here. Next you will need to install and connect to the NU VPN by following the instructions here.
Option 1: Connect From a Browser
CYBR Students only: go to https://ist-cybrv.ist.unomaha.edu and enter your UNO e-mail address and e-mail password
Option 2: Connect From VMware Workstation or VMware Fusion
- Windows users: Download and install VMware Workstation 15 (UNO NetID credentials to login)
- Mac users: Download and install VMware Fusion (UNO NetID credentials to login)
Open the application and click File --> Connect to Remote Server, then enter the following:
CYBR Students: enter ist-cybrv.ist.unomaha.edu and enter your UNO e-mail address and e-mail password
Find your machine, click on it and then click Power On.
Option 3: PKI Computer Labs
VMware Workstation is installed on the computers in classrooms 260, 276, 278, and 361. It is also installed on the computers in the corridors adjacent to the atrium on all three floors at PKI.
