Virtual machines are available for some courses at the college of IS&T.


How to connect to your virtual machine

* Important *

The NU VPN is required. Instructions are here: https://cist.unomaha.edu/vpn


Instructors:

To request accounts for your students, send a list of their UNO email addresses, course number, section number, VM type, and VM template location to uno-ist-support@unomaha.edu.


CYBR Students:

Go to ist-cybrv.ist.unomaha.edu and enter your UNO email address and email password.

ISQA, CS, ITIN, Bioinformatics Students:

Go to ist-vcsa.unomaha.edu and enter your UNO email address and email password.

Your virtual machine will be on the left side of the screen. Click Datacenter, then drill down to find your machine.

To turn on your virtual machine, right click it, hover over Power, then click Power On.

If you can't log in, your instructor hasn't requested an account yet.

* All student virtual machines will be removed 30 days after each semester ends. Exceptions can be made if we receive an email from your professor. *
