Networks and Connectivity
Below are the wireless networks on campus for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Port resrictions and connection information can be found here.
|Name||Recommended For||Available Access|
|UNOSecure||Anyone with a NetID||UNOSecure is the preferred wireless network since it's encrypted and secure. It functions in much the same way the wired campus network does. You will need your NetID to connect.|
|UNOGuest||Guests to the campus and anyone with a device that may not support WPA2 Enterprise connections||UNOGuest is restricted to primarily web and email traffic.|
|eduroam||Faculty, staff and students visiting from other member institutions.||Access is available to students, faculty and staff from participating Instutions. To check and see if your University is part of Eduroam please visit the website.|
Access to most systems from off-campus requires connecting to the UNO VPN using your UNO NetID username and password. Instructions for multiple platforms are below. (.pdf)

NOTICE: The UNO VPN now requires two-factor authentication using an application called Duo. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org or watch the video below for first time setup instructions.
