The MFA in Writing program is a 60-hour degree. We operate on a semester basis, with time off between the end of the Spring term and the Summer Residency. For Fall 2018 and Spring 2019, tuition is $500 per credit hour.
Total costs for your MFA are calculated based on 15 credit hours per semester.
Detailed tuition and fees costs are listed by Cashiering and Student Accounts.
Post-Graduate Enrichment Courses
Post-Graduate Enrichment Courses are for non-degree seeking students, but the Seminar credit hours may be transferable to the UNO MFA in Writing program’s full 60-hour degree. Please note that post-graduate students will be responsible for full tuition and fees and are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid through student loans. Tuition and fees are calculated based on 2 Credit Hours for the Enrichment Residency and 6 Credit Hours for the Enrichment Seminar, and the current Meals & Lodging fee applies. For Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 tuition is $500 per credit hour.
