Biography
Erik Hose, a Kansas City native, is a multifaceted musician who focuses on producing and composing. He holds a Master of Arts in Music Technology from the University of Central Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a multiinstrumentalist, focusing on bass clarinet, guitar, and bass guitar. He runs a small record label, releasing original music under three channels; Baron Von Hohs which focuses on collaborative rock, metal, electronic, and hip hop projects, Erik Hose Compositions which focuses on classical and cinematic compositions, with a supporting YouTube channel focusing on video game remasters, and Home of the Hosefly, which focuses on releasing one-off EPs and albums as a producer for different songwriters.
He previously worked at Sweetwater Sound LLC as a Sales Engineer and at Stephen F. Austin State University teaching Sound Recording Technology. He specializes in creating music with a variety of techniques, instruments, and production styles, leading to his unique, powerful sound. As an educator, Erik focuses on inspiring passion towards subjects, working to allow students the ability to express themselves while also learning relevant technical and project specific skills.
