A Partnership For Success
The Department of Mathematics has an Advisor/Academic Coordinator who is readily available to assist undergraduate students in enrolling in the right mathematics courses for their program. This includes general education courses, service courses for a variety of different majors, as well as for math majors themselves.
The Advisor/Academic Coordinator works closely with other advisors all over campus and is well informed about the mathematics requirements of other programs.
Note: Department of Mathematics faculty and staff will be working all or partly remote this fall and may not be available in their offices on campus. Please reach out via phone call or email.

How to make an Advising Appointment
Current Mathematics Majors can schedule an advising appointment via MavTRACK. Prospective students or current students not registered as Mathematics majors can email or call to schedule an appointment.
Drop-In Advising meetings are 10-15 minutes each and intended for solving minor issues. If you need more time than that, please schedule an appointment!
Graduate Students will be assigned a faculty advisor to help them plan their courses and meet their goals. Each Graduate program has a Chair who can be contacted for general questions.
