Experienced business consultants are ready to provide one-on-one, confidential consulting to create a preparedness plan and assist during an ever-evolving situation. NBDC consultants are available to assist you by email, phone, or with an appointment for videoconferencing or in person at one of our centers across the state.

SBDC 

Nebraska Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is here to help businesses who have been affected by recent disasters in Nebraska. The SBDC is using all available local, state and federal resources to help businesses recover and will work closely with communities impacted by these disasters. Our services include:
  • Disaster Recovery Guide
  • Financial Record Recovery
  • Cash Flow Statements
  • Loan Application Assistance with Federal Relief Funds

In addition to recovery support, the Nebraska Small Business Development Center (SBDC) helps businesses prepare for future disruptions by developing proactive plans that reduce downtime, protect cash flow, and support faster recovery. Business can access the Business Resiliency Guide to help identify risks, protect critical operations, and plan ahead.

SBA Disaster Assistance:

SBA provides low interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes and private, non-profit organizations to repair or replace real estate, personal property, machinery & equipment, inventory and business assets that have been damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster.

Open For Business – Business Continuity Planning Toolkit:

The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) has developed a streamlined business continuity program for small businesses that may not have the time or resources to create an extensive plan to recover from business interruptions, called OFB-EZ™ (Open For Business-EZ). OFB-EZ™ is a free toolkit designed to help even the smallest businesses focus on planning for any type of business interruption. OFB-EZ is available as a downloadable Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) toolkit and as individual module forms in both Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) and Word formats that can be filled in and printed for safekeeping.

FEMA provides The Resilience Analysis and Planning Tool that gives everyone access to powerful data and GIS mapping that can help everyone understand their community
