Fontenelle Forest Passes
Criss Library has day passes to Fontenelle Forest for students, faculty, and staff to check out at no cost.
UNO students, faculty, and staff may check out a day pass to Fontenelle Forest.
- Must checkout the pass for the day they intend to visit (e.g. check out a 'Thursday' pass to visit on a Thursday and cannot visit on a Friday using the 'Thursday' pass)
- Each pass is good for one day, but will check out for 3 days to allow checkout and return.
- Fines will accrue for passes returned after the due date

- Each pass admits 2 adults and up to 5 children under 18. Children under 2 are free.
- 2 additional guests may be admitted at 1/2 price admission, and any additional guests will need to pay full daily admission (Adults $15, Seniors $11, Children $9)
- Each pass includes admission to:
- Fontenelle Forest and Neale Woods
- Habitat Hollow for indoor play and learning at the Nature Center
- Raptor Woodland Refuge, a canopy-level exhibit designed according to the natural habitat of the rescued birds housed within these mews
- Drop-in programs (does not include discount on pre-registered programs)

About Fontenelle Forest
Founded in 1913, Fontenelle Forest is one of Nebraska’s oldest conservation organizations and one of the largest private nature centers in the nation.
This federally designated 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity is a National Natural Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Fontenelle Forest owns and manages Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue and Neale Woods in Omaha. The properties encompass over 2,100 acres of forest, prairie and wetlands along the Missouri River in the geographically significant Loess Hills.
