AI-CCORE to Host Inaugural Mav AI Day

On Friday, June 5, 2026, the University of Nebraska Omaha's Artificial Intelligence Collaborative Core for Research and Education (AI-CCORE) will host Mav AI Day, a day-long event marking the grand opening of its center and showcasing the cutting-edge AI work happening at UNO and within the community. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center.

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | AI Project Gallery
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. | Networking Lunch
1:00 – 2:15 p.m. | Town Hall Sessions : AI + Health, AI + Finance
2:30 – 3:30 p.m. | Ribbon Cutting, Panel, and Certificate Ceremony
3:30 – 6:00 p.m. | AI Exhibit

The event is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the general public. RSVP by Monday, May 25, at aiccore-uno.ai/events/mav-ai-day.
