Q: Welcome to IS&T! Can you tell us a little bit about your area of expertise and the classes you’ll be teaching?

In the next semesters, I will be teaching Operating Systems and Discrete Math. In the close future, I am planning to introduce a course entitled, Knowledge Representation and Advanced Problem Solving.

Q: When did you realize what you wanted to do? Any role models help you on your path?

I realized what I wanted to do when I was doing my master thesis.

Q: As an undergrad/graduate student, what were your major stepping stones to guide your career trajectory to where you are now?

Helping a friend with the problems of his master thesis, helped me understand what I wanted to do in the future.

Q: Tell us a little bit about IS&T! What’s a typical day look like for you?

Right now, I am only going to the college to teach. The rest of my typical days consists on researching and preparing classes at home.

Q: What major advice do you have for students as they navigate their own career paths?

Q: Anything else you want us to know about you?

I like swimming.
