Program Details

It is easy to get started with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). For new students entering MIS, the first semesters lay the foundation of fundamentals in programming, analytics, ethics, information security, and business.

To this foundation, students add the MIS core of data management, project management, IT infrastructure, web application and full-stack development.

In the capstone classes, students gain hands-on experience in information systems analysis, design, and implementation for real clients.  Along the way, students may pursue existing concentrations such as data science, information security management, business application development, or craft their own.

The degree offers minimal curricular complexity and a lot of flexibility. It is easy to transfer credits into MIS or combine it with other disciplines (i.e., for double majors), or step from the bachelor’s degree to a graduate program.
