Background
In an effort to increase student and faculty engagement on campus, the College of Arts and Sciences will provide College of Arts and Sciences’ student organizations and their faculty advisors one-time mini grants of up to $500 for student organization development and/or enhancement and faculty advisor professional development. The aim of these mini grants is to promote and support new and existing student organizations within the college.
Awards
- Mini grants of up to $500 will be awarded to individual faculty advisors for student organization programming during the Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 semesters. - Mini grants will be awarded based on the merits of the proposal and until available funds are exhausted. Priority will be given to on-campus activities and/or events.
Criteria
- Student organizations must be housed within a program or department in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Emerging, new, or existing student organizations are eligible but must have a faculty advisor identified. Student organizations need to comply with UNO’s student organization standards.
