Biography

Dr. Haixin Dang joined the UNO Philosophy Department in fall 2021. She has a B.A. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Before coming to UNO, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds. 

Dr. Dang teaching interests are primarily in philosophy of science and social epistemology. She will be teaching philosophy of race and various courses in applied ethics, especially issues that arise in science and technology.
