Private Planetarium Shows

The Mallory Kountze Planetarium has over many different programs available for school field trips, scouting groups, day-care centers, churches, civic groups, other organizations, and families.

Our programs are designed to last one hour, including "questions and answers." If we have a time slot available, we can schedule your group to see the show of your choice. Many of our programs are presented "live" and can be tailored to fit a wide range of audience ages, interests, and curricula.

Seating Capacity: 80 attendees

  • Request a Private Show

If you'd like to request a private show less than two weeks away, please email us directly: unoplanetarium@unomaha.edu.

Rates

  • $75 for 12 or fewer attendees
  • $160 for 13 to 25 attendees
  • $315 for 26 to 50 attendees
  • $500 for 51 to 80 attendees

Parking

  • Mondays - Friday afternoons, parking is very limited.
  • Contact the planetarium for weekday parking.
  • Campus parking at the Durham Science Center is available on weekends and major holidays.

Schedule

  • Please schedule a minimum of two weeks in advance of your requested date.
  • Short notice programs may be possible but please contact the planetarium directly at unoplanetarium@unomaha.edu.
