About

Krista Testin joined the STEM TRAIL Center this June and has a long history in STEM education. She holds a BS in earth and space secondary education from St. Cloud State and an MS in secondary education from UNO.

Prior to UNO, she served as an outreach educator for the Journey Into Space program at the Journey Museum in Rapid City, SD. She taught in Minnesota for nearly 10 years and has been involved in informal education for over 10 years.

Krista has been active in Girl Scouts as a program provider and troop leader for several years and is a member of the Omaha Astronomical Society. She enjoys traveling with her family, binge watching TV and movies, and helping her kids with their homework.
