About Nicole

Nicole Naatz currently serves the UNO community as a Nebraska Certified Victim and Survivor Advocate. In this role, she compassionately supports students, faculty, and staff who have experienced dating or domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, and sexual harassment. Nicole listens attentively to their experiences and needs, offering resources and support while accompanying them through decision-making processes, safety planning, and navigating available systems. 

Nicole brings extensive experience working with individuals across varied age groups, offering support through a range of lived experiences, including trauma, grief, LGBTQIA2S+ identities, stress/anxiety, relationships, enhancing wellness, and guiding them through life transitions. She has previously served the UNO community as an academic advisor, licensed mental health practitioner, and adjunct instructor.
