Agne Dizona brings over a decade of expertise in fundraising and nonprofit development to her current role as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Creighton University. In this capacity, she plays a pivotal role in securing philanthropic support from foundations and corporations to advance the university’s mission. With a keen focus on fostering strategic partnerships, Agne collaborates closely with university leadership, academic deans, and key stakeholders to identify funding opportunities that align with institutional priorities.

Agne has a distinguished career assisting more than 60 nonprofits across the nation, including hospitals, religious and civic organizations, educational and arts institutions, and social service agencies. During her ten-year tenure as a fundraising consultant, she successfully developed and managed fundraising programs, special funding initiatives, annual giving funds, major gift efforts, and capital campaigns.

As Vice President of Community Engagement and Volunteering at United Way of the Midlands, Agne navigated critical organizational change by building relationships and implementing innovative community engagement strategies. At Joslyn Art Museum, she played a key role in securing funding from corporations, foundations, and major donors to support institutional projects and the capital campaign.

Agne has shared her expertise on fund development topics at numerous seminars, workshops, and conferences. She serves on the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Nebraska board of directors as the past president, as well as sits on the board of the Omaha Sister Cities Association.

Originally from Lithuania, Agne came to the United States in 2000 as an international student. After completing a one-year career development program, she chose to settle in Omaha, Nebraska. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Agne is also a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
