I am enthusiastic about cultural competency & strive to embed this principle in my work. My passion for translational science informs my professional goal: to explore the needs & preferences of underserved groups & contribute to the development of resources, informed by individual & community experiences. I enjoy teaching, & my philosophy is to empower learners with real-world knowledge that can be applied both in and out of classroom environments.
