Mollie George is a Nebraska native and lives in Lincoln. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Science from University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Master of Arts in Gerontology from Concordia University, Seward.

Mollie is ASCP certified through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist. She also holds certifications as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and as a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP). She is a current doctoral student in Gerontology at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Mollie has professional backgrounds in dementia education, healthcare, memory care, long term care, and intergenerational church ministry. She is passionate about issues that affect older adults; especially caregiving and advocating for advanced dementia education for staff in nursing homes statewide.

Mollie is a member of Capitol City Toastmasters, Cornhusker Kiwanis, Christ Place Church, Friendship Force, Nebraska Caregiver Coalition, Nebraska Elder Rights Coalition, End of Life Coalition, and Coalition for Older Adult Health Promotion. She is also involved in Meals on Wheels, First Free Respite Night, the Yazidi Grandma English Project, and Juniper Refuge Outreach.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling abroad, visiting Nebraska small towns and museums off-the-beaten path, kayaking, biking, sailing, and dancing. She loves spending time with her family and friends.  She aspires to see every Oscar-worthy movie and her dream is to start her own non-profit for adult day services.
