Bio

My name is Jean Joy Wambui Kamau. I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and moved all the way to Nebraska to pursue my education. I am currently a junior. My major is Gerontology with a concentration in Health and a minor in Emergency Management. I plan to pursue physical therapy as my future career path. I chose to study Gerontology because I wanted to learn how I can be of help to my grandparents as they age, as well as my own parents someday. I can confidently say that pursuing Gerontology as my major has made me appreciate our elders in the community, and in turn I have developed long lasting relationships that I have come to value.
