Multilateral Summer Immersion Experience
This multilateral immersion experience will expose the visiting students to American society, culture, history and business practices through educational workshops, corporate visits and cultural activities. More than a dozen UNO students will be volunteering to support the event and provide the visiting students an opportunity to interact in formal and informal settings. The visit also includes facility tours and face-to-face conversations with top corporate executives from Borsheims, ConAgra, Gallup, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Union Pacific, and Valmont. The students will also participate in an afternoon of service with Open Door Mission. In addition, the students will take a field trip through Nebraska and South Dakota, visiting attractions such as the Oregon Trail, Scottsbluff National Monument, Fort Robinson, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills and Badlands National Park.
