Mini-grants for Faculty Research Stay (2014): Based on the recommendation of the UCRCA (12/14/2011), the following faculty proposals were approved for funding.

Faculty Research Stays – $2,500 each

  • Prof. Robert Blair, Public Administration, CPACS (“Continue working on a community development plan and research project in Flekkefjord, Norway” in partnership with the University of Agder, Krsitiansand, Norway)
  • Dr. Zhengxin Chen, Computer Science, IS&T (“Exploring the potential of database keyword search for data mining…” in partnership with the (Chinese Academy of Sciences Research Center on Fictitious Economy and Data Science, Beijing, China)
  • Dr. Abhishek Parakh, Information Assurance, IS&T (“Development of Efficient Real-time Image and Video Encryption and Watermarking Techniques” in partnership with Sir Padmpat Singhania University, Udaipur, India)
