Goal: Expand and fund summer research and internship experiences for undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students from partner schools in China, India, Norway and Germany. Grant funds will be used to further expand engagement of foreign students in summer experiences as a model for the NU system. To develop a critical mass and truly make an impact on this initiative, we will use NU Foundation funds to bring at least 12 students from the partner schools to UNO.
Spring 2014:
1. Four undergraduate students from Jaypee University of IT, Biotechnology/Bioinformatics program spent a semester at UNO & UNMC for their thesis project work and attended classes.
