Be a Mentor

There are two opportunities to become a mentor: Entrepreneurial Living Learning Community and Breakthrough Weekend. To learn more about each opportunity please read below.

Entrepreneurial Living Learning Community

The Entrepreneurial Living Learning Community (ELLC) is a program designed to support University of Nebraska at Omaha students and their entrepreneurship endeavors. Each month ELLC members have lunch with their mentors with the anticipation of improving communication and networking skills, sharing insights and building community engagement. If you would like to be a ELLC mentor please apply by taking this short survey.

Breakthrough Weekend

Breakthrough Weekend is a event put on by the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Franchising that brings together innovative students and community members to build a business in a weekend. In partnership with The Startup Collaborative, Breakthrough Weekend takes teams through the steps from idea formulation to finding that first customer, all the way to pitching their business to a panel of judges. Throughout the weekend mentors are asked to come and challenge those ideas and provide even further insight to the teams. If you would like to be a Breakthrough Weekend mentor please apply by taking this short survey.
