Find Your Community of Learners

Student organizations not only connect you with your peers, but they also offer an opportunity for professional development, networking, management and leadership skill development.

French Club

Meet fellow students for casual French conversation, games, and culture. All levels welcome!


Latinx+ Club

This is a new student led club. Students work together to create an inclusive language learning context for all students. They engage in recreational and community oriented activities.


Sigma Delta Pi - Spanish National Honor Society

  • Recognizes outstanding scholarship in Spanish language and literature, and
  • Works to increase the knowledge and appreciation of the Spanish contribution to world culture.

To be eligible for membership in Sigma Delta Pi, one must:

  • have completed one upper division course in Spanish (3000+ level);
  • have completed or currently be enrolled, in a literature or culture class with a B average. If currently enrolled you MUST have a letter from your instructor verifying your work is of at least "B quality.
  • maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8;
  • maintain a GPA of 3.0 in Spanish.

Members are eligible for local and national scholarships. For membership information contact:

Spanish Conversation Club

The club meets regularly to give students speaking opportuntiies and a sense of community at all levels of Spanish proficiency.


Stammtisch

A long standing German conversation club that meets weekly. Students, faculty and community members are welcometo join. Stammtisch has been an active club since 2009!
