Kanami Ito is a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant from Japan. She works as an English teacher at Aomori High School in Japan. At the University of Nebraska at Omaha, she serves as a Japanese language and culture assistant. She is passionate about helping students broaden their perspectives through language learning and strives to inspire and motivate them. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and practicing ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement).
